The Federal Ombudsman

Do you have a problem with a federal administrative authority?

The Office of the Federal Ombudsman is there to help you.

It will seek a solution to your problem and check whether the administrative authority has acted properly.

If your complaint is justified, it will try to convince the administrative authority to correct the situation and to prevent the problem from recurring.

Since the Office of the Federal Ombudsman was established in 1997:

 - 50,000 citizens have turned to it

 - 107 recommendations have been made to the federal administrative authorities

 - 59 recommendations have been submitted to Parliament

You too can help make the administrative authorities more efficient through your complaints.
